| Definitions The Beat Project worked with various groups, to provide a short course with regards to one of the ECM outcomes. Each short course featured training in film and music technology in order to complete a short film with an original soundtrack explaining each of the outcomes from their point of view. The complete DVD featuring all 5 films is intended to be used as a resource for other young people to be aware and fully understand the ECM outcomes, as detailed below. • Being Healthy: enjoying good physical and mental health and living a healthy lifestyle • Staying Safe: being protected from harm and neglect • Enjoy and Achieve: getting the most out of life and developing the skills for adulthood • Making a Positive Contribution: being involved with the community and society and not engaging in anti-social or offending behaviour • Achieve Economic Well-Being: not being prevented by economic disadvantage from achieving your full potential in life This means that the organisations involved with providing services to children - from hospitals and schools, to police and voluntary groups - will be teaming up in new ways, sharing information and working together, to protect children and young people from harm and help them achieve what they want in life. Children and young people will have far more say about issues that affect them as individuals and collectively. Being Healthy (Walderslade Girls School Group A)
Staying Safe (New Brompton College)
Enjoy and Achieve (Strood Youth Centre)
Making a Positive Contribution (Hundred of Hoo)
Achieve Economic Well-Being (Walderslade Girls School Group B)
