The Beat Project worked with various groups, to provide a short course with regards to one of the ECM outcomes. Each short course featured training in film and music technology in order to complete a short film with an original soundtrack explaining each of the outcomes from their point of view. The complete DVD featuring all 5 films is intended to be used as a resource for other young people to be aware and fully understand the ECM outcomes, as detailed below.

Being Healthy: enjoying good physical and mental health and living a healthy lifestyle
Staying Safe: being protected from harm and neglect
Enjoy and Achieve: getting the most out of life and developing the skills for adulthood
Making a Positive Contribution: being involved with the community and society and not engaging in anti-social or offending behaviour
Achieve Economic Well-Being: not being prevented by economic disadvantage from achieving your full potential in life

This means that the organisations involved with providing services to children - from hospitals and schools, to police and voluntary groups - will be teaming up in new ways, sharing information and working together, to protect children and young people from harm and help them achieve what they want in life.
