Experienced, talented and enthusiastic freelance artists

The Beat Project is always looking for experienced, talented and enthusiastic freelance artists to join its informal and award-winning team, to help deliver a wide-range of established and cutting-edge workshops and courses, including:

• Urban arts: DJ mixing, music technology, break dancing, rapping, MC’ing, graffiti and junk drumming.
• Rock and pop: guitar, bass, drumming, keyboard and percussion.
• Visual arts: art, design, sculpture, drama, singing and dance.
• Media: film, TV and radio.
• Multi-cultural and cross-musical genre projects (including classical).

We offer competitive daily rates and longer term contracts.

The successful candidates must have experience in any of the above mentioned arts and projects.  And most importantly, they must have experience of working with young people and are Enhanced CRB checked, or are willing to be checked.  

Additional requirements include: access to own transport or use of public transport; strong organisational skills; ability to complete and return forms, reports and undertake additional administration; and, a keen attention to detail.
